Which one? It’s hard to see. Are you talking about the “SAM” sign? Can you post a close-up?
oops, here it is
I think it has something to do with S&M. But that just may be a remnant of reading JT’s post.
When I went past the same intersection this evening, all four of the signs had been taken down. Too subversive I’m sure.
VOTE FOR SAM!
Fill in all the blanks with SAM when you vote. If there aren’t blanks, just cross out some those lecherous asshole politicians and add my name. If you don’t want to vote for me, then you can always vote for my buddy PEDRO.
I promise I won’t do anything except ….
I will free all first-time non-violent drug users. I will extend hours at all government offices to the actual listed opening and closing times. (No more of this we close at 5 p.m. but don’t allow anyone to enter after 4 p.m. bullshit.) I will make it my mission to snatch driver licenses from those who cruise precariously close to cyclists and pedestrians, or those simply deemed too stupid to be allowed to drive anything over 30 lbs. I will also use federal dollars to fund programs for the homeless, for drug prevention and treatment programs, and to stop domestic violence. I will abolish all chain restaurants in Colorado Springs. (Be prepared to cook for yourselves citizens!) I will also use public money to fund the arts, promote music, art, and other liberal arts, in public schools. I will also create a plan to require hospitals, doctors, and the health care insurance industry to be able to clearly explain costs. (No worries, regardless of whether or not you have insurance, everyone will be charged the same amount for the same services provided.) I will also kick some ass up in Denver and get more funding for transportation that benefits everyone, such as FREX or light rail. (Why should Denver get all of the perks?) I will also work on giving our city a better public image: one that fosters cultural diversity.
maybe it’s a part of this.
I found out who it is, and I’m not telling just yet until she gives me permission.
I also found out why the signs came down, which is because you’re apparently only allowed to have non-permit political or commercial signs up from Friday evening to Monday morning.
The good news is that we have SAM for ARTIST buttons down at Rubbish Gallery if you want to come down and pick one up.
17B E Bijou in the alley across from 15C between Cascade and Tejon.
