Fire in Manitou

You can probably see the smoke coming from Mt. Manitou at the base of the incline if you step outside and get a clear view to the west. Eric Whitney phoned to tell us that it’s about 100 acres-ish right now and they’re expecting a water tanker from Ft. Carson to fly over any minute. No homes or businesses threatened as yet. Cause is apparently “suspicious.”
