People will say I’m crazy, but Oliver Stone’s biopics are his best work: The Doors, JFK, Nixon…. all great stuff. (Okay, there’s Alexander, I know.) Platoon, Talk Radio, Born on the Fourth of July, and Natural Born Killers I could have done without. (I anticipate a firestorm from that comment.) Of course, Wall Street has its moments…. Still, I’m skeptical about W., though I look forward to it.

Yeah, I just wonder what Stone can add to the Bush mythos to keep this from becoming a 2+ hours SNL skit. I think Nixon is a masterpiece, so I know that it’s possible to inject real pathos into W. — but “how?” is the question.
