Aaron, I thought you were going to Estes Park. I was quite surprised while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade when I spotted you in New York performing as a member of the California boy band, Varsity Fanclub.

Police blocked off the block of Tejon from Dale to Willamette around 11am this morning with police tape to issue a warrant and to seize property of two churches. Here is a summary from the Gazette’s article.
Colorado Springs police detectives raided Grace Church and St. Stephen’s Wednesday morning to seize paper financial records and computers as part of a theft investigation launched more than a year ago.
More than 20 officers cordoned off the block-long church complex at 601 N. Tejon St., evicting its controversial pastor, the Rev. Donald Armstrong, who wandered the sidewalk in clerical garb, a copy of the warrant clutched in his right hand.
The raid focused on records tied to allegations from the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado that Armstrong embezzled $400,000 from Grace & St. Stephens Episcopal Church, the congregation he headed before he and his followers broke away in early 2007 to affiliate with the Convocation of Anglicans in North American.
Colorado Springs Police Lt. David Whitlock said officers were searching for evidence of theft and fraud.

The end of November will mark the end of the WeUsOur Artist’s Market. It’s been 20 months of art, music, beer and fun but, sales just haven’t been good enough to keep us going and looking forward to the Manitou winter is scaring all the business owners up here. I’ll be back in school starting in January taking some art classes on my G.I. Bill. Maggie will continue to do her own art at The Clay People Studio. The gallery will re-open in a smaller format later down the road when Clay People finds a bigger space to operate. Thanks to all the artists, musicians and all of our great friends who made this a beautiful space and positive experience for everyone involved. Join us on Saturday for one last blowout in the 80829. Starting @ 5pm there will be a potluck dinner open to all then music will begin later.

So, thanks to everyone who showed up tonight for the get-together. I’ll have a longer post on the morrow letting you know what’s going on. In the meantime. I’m just going to keep posting Colbert videos. (They got Toby Keith to sing about peace! And love! And also, I want to marry Feist. Don’t tell my wife. And also, this made me remember what a terrific song this is. And also, that bear rules.)
