Candidates who have applied for JEE Main 2019 January Session can download their admit cards from now onwards. As per the latest news, National Testing Agency (NTA) has released JEE Main 2019 January Admit card on December 17, 2018. The Admit card will be made available on the official website of NTA i.e. nta.ac.in. You will need to have your JEE Main 2019 Application Number and password ready to download the admit card.

The last date to submit JEE Main 2019 was October 1, 2018. Those candidates who have successfully submitted their application form before the last date will be able to download the admit card from the official website. For appearing in the entrance exam, it is compulsory on the part of every candidate to produce JEE Main 2019 Admit Card at their respective exam centers.

Exam Day Schedule

As per the official notification released by NTA, JEE Main 2019 January Session will be conducted in 2 shifts. Paper-I will be held in two shifts, the first shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The second shift will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm on January 06-January 20, 2019. Paper-II is scheduled to be conducted on one single day i.e. January 08, 2019, in two shifts on same time slots as mentioned above.

How to Download the Admit Card?

Candidates will have to visit the official website i.e. www.nta.ac.in or www.jeemain.nic.in. Aspirants will need their JEE Main 2019 Application number and password to log in and download the admit card.

After JEE Main 2019 Admit Card is downloaded, candidates have to get a print out of the same over a plain white A4 sheet. Candidates are often confused regarding the color scheme of the printout, as NTA has not given any guidelines regarding the same. It is completely up to candidates’ choice to get a colored printout or black and white one. However, as details in colored print are quite clear and easy to identify it is recommended to carry a colored print of JEE Main Admit card.

JEE Main Admit Card will contain exam center name and address, the shift allotted to the candidates, candidate’s personal details, JEE Main 2019 roll number, important exam center instructions etc.

Exam Day Instructions

As JEE Main will be conducted in an online mode, no candidates are allowed to carry any type of pen/pencil in the examination hall/room. Candidates are permitted to appear for JEE Main 2019 at the allotted venue. Not only this, candidates will have to sit on the seat allotted to him/her. Also, no candidate will be allowed to enter at the Examination Centre after the commencement of the examination in each paper.

Candidates are also not allowed to carry these items inside the exam center- watches, bags, sheets of papers except for JEE Main Admit card, food items or any other items. Candidates will also have to make sure they carry following documents on the day of their examination:

Printout of JEE Main Admit card, One passport size, photograph similar to one uploaded during filling of the application form, A valid ID proof, and candidates belonging to PWD category are advised to carry a copy of the PWD certificate in the prescribed format.
