Rob Brendle's Tight Bro Dinesh D'Souza on Colbert

Check out Colbert mockity-mock-mock-mocking the shit out of frequent New Life Church speaker and buddy of Rob Brendle, Dinesh D'Souza, author of the newly minted The Enemy at Home: And Its Responsibility for 9/11. I love the logic: if we would all behave like the Christian Taliban, then the Islamic Taliban wouldn't have such a problem with us. Good thinking, Dinesh. Freedom isn't free. It costs 1.2 Trillion, bro, and it isn't even worth defending at this point unless we're no longer free! (ps the clips are at iFilm, which is REALLY slow).

I've actually heard (via podcast) and seen (in person) D'Souza speak at New Life. He's actually a very engaging speaker and pre-Haggard it was impressive that they were getting him to preach on a regular ole Sunday. Wonder how much he got...

I think he's one of those young insurgent cons of the 80s who drank too much of the Kook Aid. I don't think our cultural politics factors into how the jihadists think and operate. We could all be raping donkeys over here and if we had a bit more foreign policy savvy their movement would wither dramatically.

Is that supposed to make me feel ... ??? Who cares. It's good to know that he shares values with Muslim extremists.

Don't fuck with me Noel

I just finished watching the Dinesh clips… Someone should really Jihadamize him. It’s so God Damn disturbing how Fundamentalist Christians have decided that using the same dogmatic rhetoric that Fundamentalist Islamists use to promote political agenda is somehow beneficial to our “national security.” FOTF’s news letters discussing seminars on “The Rules of Engagement for Spiritual Warfare,” and hearing jack-asses like Dinesh saying that the reason al-Qaeda hates America is that they disapprove of our counties “overly Liberal” MO [for example – the fact that we don’t ass-fuck all of our gays with a flaming sword (mortification of the flesh would really put the fear of God right up their soulless man sleeves)… also, gays eat maggots], is enough to make the average American vomit plagues of locust at doe eyed teenagers eating Jesus-crackers at youth group meetings. When will fundies learn that extremism breeds extremism? Oppose Caliphate (both domestic and foreign)!!! I think it’s about time that Fundamentalist Christains and Fundamentalist Islamists are allowed to carry out their Holy War. Maybe you could fight in Iraq, it’s already bombed out and depleted anyway. Just leave us reasonable people to cuddle ourselves in the cold embrace of a dying planet.

For a frightening side by side comparison of Bush’s “Address to the Nation” (October 7, 2001) and Osama bin Laden’s, video address (also October 7, 2001), check out

The similarities in their Rhetoric are frightening.

what the fuck?
That cover is very similar to my copy of "The Federalist Papers"

Is it just me and I'm seeing too much into this or am I just high?
