Picasso Etchings (1966-1971) at the FAC

This is me high-fiving one of the enlarged Picasso etchings at the FAC. I strongly recommend this exhibition beautifully curated by Tariana Navas-Nieves. To see what was running through the mind (and onto the plates) of the big P in the last years of his life is truly remarkable in my humble and wannabe art critic opinion.

Fourth of July Camera Phone Shot

The fireworks were moved from Red Mountain in Manitou this year due to dryness and were shot off very close to our house. The blue flash you see to the left actually landed in my yard. You can also see my dog Oblio in the window down below. You can hear him whining, too, if you listen carefully.
